1. General Terms

By making a reservation with 100 on Kayburne Guest House, you agree to our cancellation policy as set out below. This policy applies to all direct bookings made via our website, by phone, or email. If you booked through a third-party platform (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb), their cancellation terms will apply.

2. Cancellation Periods and Fees

Standard Bookings:

Free cancellation up to 14 days before the check-in date.
Cancellations made 7–13 days before check-in: 50% of total booking will be charged.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in or no-shows: 100% of the total booking will be charged.

Group Bookings (3 rooms or more):

Free cancellation up to 21 days before check-in.
Cancellations 14–20 days before check-in: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations less than 14 days before check-in: 100% cancellation fee.

Peak Season Bookings (e.g. December holidays, major events):

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required.
Cancellations at any time will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
No-shows or early departures will be charged the full amount.

3. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method, less any applicable bank or admin charges.
Booking fees charged by third-party platforms are non-refundable.

4. No-Shows and Early Departures

No-shows (guests who do not arrive without prior notice) will be charged the full booking amount.
Early departures are not eligible for refunds unless due to medical or emergency reasons supported by valid documentation.

5. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

In the event of cancellations due to events beyond your or our control (e.g. natural disasters, government travel bans, load shedding disruptions, pandemics, or civil unrest), the following applies:

We will offer a date change at no extra cost, subject to availability.
If rebooking is not possible, we may offer a credit voucher valid for 12 months.
Full refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

7. Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Changes will apply to new bookings and not retroactively.
